Today’s message from God Calling – A.J. Russell, reminds us that we should never entertain any spirit but the Lord’s; the Holy Spirit. Spiritualism, we’re told, is wrong. I can see a couple of reasons for this, right in the Bible.
First, (2 Cor. 11:14) tells us that Satan, himself masquerades as an angel of light. So do his servants. There are a bunch of scriptures that give us information about unclean spirits. There are also scriptures that give us information about hosts of spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies. Jesus gave us authority over unclean spirits; to cast them out. Secondly, and simply put, the serpent, who is Satan, “is more crafty/cunning than any of the wild animals the LORD, God, had made.” (Genesis 3:1, Rev. 20:3, 1 Peter 5:8) I would look up every scripture in the Bible dealing with Satan, with spiritualism, and with the hosts of spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies. It will give you a clear picture of who you’re dealing with. Jesus also said, “My sheep know my voice, and obey it.” (John 10:27) Ladies and gentlemen, in these times especially, we need to put on the full armor of God, and be ready to wield the sword of God (His Word).
There’s a lot of talk and speculation about this Coronavirus. While it is a serious thing, please don’t panic. Please remember the 91st Psalm, which promises that God’s got your back. I discovered some years ago, a little thing called Earl Grey Tea-Bigelow is my favorite brand of tea. I had bronchitis, drank a cup of that tea, and it actually loosened the tightness in my lungs, and soothed the pain. My lungs/chest quit hurting and I was able to cough up the mucus, clearing the congestion. There’s something in Earl Grey tea, called Oil of Bergamot. In doing some research, I also found out that the actually used this stuff to help those suffering from Tuberculosis, way back when it was still called “Consumption.” Vitamin C, as much as you can get, will help boost your immune system, enabling you to fight this virus off. Tea also has tannins in it, that are good for fighting bacteria and viruses. Earl Grey Tea has both. Hot Tang is also good, as well as that good old Chicken soup-I like the kind with rice in it, because the rice is easier to digest. Practice good hygiene (hand-washing, throw tissues in the garbage or flush them, etc.). Other than that, remember, you are blessed coming in and going out…(Deuteronomy 28)
