In Reaching Out We Reach Within As Well

Today’s message from God Calling – A.J. Russell, bids us to be blessing.  We are blessed to be blessing to others.  The message bids us to never let a day pass without reaching out to someone with some blessing, a little bit of love.  Love is God in action, and vice versa.

When I think about this message, I think about how blessed I am in blessing someone else.  I think about the joy that wells up within me, and the peace that settles on my heart and soul over after the encounter with that person.  Even if it’s just a hug and a greeting, or something as simple as a safety pin in a pinch, that I just happen to have to give, it’s a little blessing that magnifies the love and joy of the Lord.  Blessing should bring us joy.  The Bible tells us the Father is pleased to give us the Kingdom. (Luke 12:32)  If giving the Kingdom pleases Him, it certainly should, and can, please us.  When I think of the Kingdom of Heaven, I think of the love, the truth, the peace, and the joy there.  The life and pleasure of abundant life-not abundant things-abundant life-which is love, truth, peace, joy, laughter, song, etc.  Finally, remember Jesus’ words, “Give and it shall be given unto you,; a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap.” (Luke 6:38)  He also said the measure we use will be the measure we receive-so the more you bless, the more blessed you’ll be within-where your soul prospers.  As your soul prospers, your life will prosper.  Don’t be afraid to bless someone with a kindness, or even a simple hug.  That blessing will boomerang right back into your spirit so awesomely!  Don’t miss out!

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the hugs, all the “good morning”s, and all the kindnesses and friendship of folks out there.  You know who you are.  I am so very grateful to and for you!   May God bless you all richly! -and in full measure!

Love you from Cafe du Mondieu                                                                                            Copyright by Marina Morrison (aka) Eden Stillwater, January 2, 2019, 4:40 P.M.
